Rose Park East LifestyleThe History of Rose Park East

This neighborhood starting in the early 1900′s and then booming from 1910-1922 took on heavily the Bungalow architectural style. Many of the homes in this area have since been modernized but it is still very evident that this area still holds on to it’s roots of it’s early architectural style.

How to get yourself here?

The Alamitos Land Company graciously donated the community in 1910 Rose Park that is located at Orizaba Avenue and Eighth street. Members of this community work very hard throughout the years to maintain the original beauty of this historic area. This park’s main feature is a perfectly constructed mosaic tile Gazebo that was just recently restored in 2009. This area is home to many fundraisers and events to help raise money year after year for the upkeep of this park.
