The History of Lakewood Estates
This community is often referred to as the instant city, due to the fact that in 1950 it was nothing more than a lima bean field and by 1960 it was a fully functioning city! The community started out as a place for veterans and aerospace engineers, since then the community has grown but has not lost it’s neighborhood touch.
