Lakewood Manor is an intimate community located in the city of Lakewood between Candlewood Street to the north, Del Amo Boulevard to the south, Lakewood Boulevard to the east and Paramount Boulevard to the west.
The History of Lakewood Manor
This community is often referred to as the instant city, due to the fact that in 1950 it was nothing more than a lima bean field and by 1960 it was a fully functioning city! The community started out as a place for veterans and aerospace engineers, since then the community has grown but has not lost it’s neighborhood touch.

Parks
Bolivar Park is this communities’ hang out especially during summer. This park has horse shoe pits, picnic areas, meeting rooms, playgrounds, athletic fields and barbeque areas. To find out park simply look to the cross-streets of Downey Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard.
