Old Lakewood City is an area known for it’s close proximity to Heartwell park and is not uncommon for many residents of this community to find themselves here on afternoons or during special festival events that are held fairly frequently.

Although its name alludes that it would be located in Lakewood, the Old Lakewood City community is technically in Long Beach and is located just west of the Heartwell Park. The area is bordered by Conant the south, Bellflower Boulevard to the west and Woodruff Avenue to the east.
